Identifying and obtaining appropriate placement and educational services is a complex process. With over a decade of experience working in the public school system as a Speech-Language Pathologist who develops and implements Individualized Education Programs, and 504 Plans, Starr knows “insider” information on how the system works and will educate, equip, and empower parents with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully navigate the education bureaucracy.
Using her professional expertise combined with years of personal advocacy experience obtaining positive academic and social outcomes for her adult sons with ADHD-Combined Type, Starr will show you how special education legislation including IDEA and Section 504 can be used to ensure your child receives all of the educational services he or she needs. After an intake meeting, Starr and her team of expert educational consultants will assist parents with developing an action plan that will provide the best services for their child.
